If you've met her, you'll know that she's been having increasing difficulty with her mobility; her left leg is now noticably shorter than her right as the bone wears down and she's in almost constant pain, despite the various drugs she's been prescribed. (It's taken a long time for her to be diagnosed correctly, and the system to grind at it's own slow pace)
Fortunately, a lot of this should be alleviated on Sunday, although for several months there will be other problems to cope with, and the operation won't solve everything.
Hopefully, I'll be able to post good news on Monday.
