Man, that just sucks. Hope she responds well to the chemo and surgery, Rosie.

Really hope she makes it ok through the treatment and operation, Rosie, big hugs.

Poor Rosie. You need a stroke of good luck.
Rian hopes your Auntie does well. I think she will. If they are doing an hysterectomy they will get it all out. <knocks wood> |

Oh no, that's horrible, Rosie. I really hope that she'll be okay.

I second that. Your entire family really, really deserves a break, starting with your aunt.
Houston, this is more of an FYI call - we're basically out of the door.

Man, Rosie, you really are having a streak of bad luck. I hope your aunt recovers.

Sigh, indeed. I hope she continues to stay upbeat and I hope the treatment is successful.

Double post because I can't edit for this: my mother just phoned me and told me our dog Cara died about an hour ago.
I'm going to miss her hugely. And I know this is meaningless but it seems extra cruel that I was looking forward to seeing her in another week. I can't stop crying right now. |

Oh Skits - I'm so sorry. Was it an expected death? (Not that it makes it much better...)
Thanks to everyone who's sent their best wishes for my aunt - I'm going to see her tomorrow. And who'd dare tell the lambs in spring

Awww. Hugs to Skits; I never met her, but she looked cute and much-loved.

Thanks all. Yeah, she was loved and she will be missed (especially in the caravan next week - I can barely remember caravanning without a grumpy Scottie on the
floor getting tripped over).
Rosie, it wasn't particularly expected - she'd been under the weather recently but not extremely so until the last 24 hrs or so apparently. And she was taken to the vets yesterday, who did a bunch of tests and concluded there was nothing diabetes-wise that was a problem. So it looks like she outlived that for 3 and a half years to eventually get defeated by something else (lung difficulties of some description, possibly a tumour or other problem). I really need to stop crying soon, it's giving me a splitting headache. Dvds and biscuits are helping a little, though. |

I'm so sorry to hear about Cara, she always sounded like the most adorable grumpy creature and companion.

Aw, Skits. *massive hug* I really wish I could have met Cara, I have a couple of photos of her being cute on my computer. I know that she was a wonderful and
much loved little puppy... I hope you're OK.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your canine companion Skits. I recall she frequented many a flickr photo. Take comfort in knowing she lived a loved
life. I'm sure your caravan trip will be noticeably empty without her underfoot.

Aw, I am sad too, now. Poor Skits.
