			<description><![CDATA[ <p>The next <strong>Discworld</strong> novel is due out in October (various dates) and since he is 1) already very popular with Hobblings and 2) prone to
throwing into his books a few discussion points, I propose we read together. </p>

<p>It&#39;s hardback but in the UK at least, it is marked down considerably by most sellers (Amazon lists it at £10.44) and it is usually sold by discount
bookshops. Best of all though, the book is bound to be found in libraries.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ While I would prefer Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, I would love to group read the Gap saga or even one of his short story collections. He is a fantastic
author who has never really been discussed well here. Like Robin, his style is distinct magnificent, but where Robins prose is like a rolling mountain brook,
Donaldson is more reminiscent of ice breaking on a frozen river.

<p>What can you learn from stories about orcs and dragons and spaceships and bikini clad space Amazons? Fantasy in particular (and a large proportion of scifi)

For me, the first fantasy book I remember reading is the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. I was about 6 years old. I spent many moments staring
